   WHO WE ARE

Hello!

We are a small team of cycling enthusiasts who want to wildly discover Iceland.

This is our first experience at travel blogging, and we all have a different background and life philosophies.

Diversity is the strength of the team, although some common links bring us together. A trip is always full of emotions and that’s what we’ll try to share with you.

We are Biagio, Camille, Peppe and Paul… Alberto may also join us.

We want to discover the beauty of Iceland and there isn’t a better way to do so than cycling, cycling and cycling! (Sometimes we may also walk, walk and walk!).

   THE TEAM

Biagio

Hi there, this is Biagio! Me in 30 seconds? What to say …I’m Italian with a Turkish wife, both living in the UK, luckily I do like going around.

I think that there are many ways of dreaming and one of those is travelling in an unconstrained way. This means being part of nature forgetting about rules of society (Who says that breakfast come before dinner?).

Why Iceland? Well, that something that you will understand following and reading our blog.

I'm sure this adventure will inspire us ...and hopefully someone will dream with us!

'KEEP IT GREEN, PLEASE!'

…2...1…time ended!

Camille

My name is Camille. I am a French young woman happily living in Murcia; south of Spain. Passionate by my everyday life as a marketing director, I love to take off my heels for some days; weeks or months and explore the World. Cycling in Iceland reunites all the ingredients I am looking for an amazing experience: physical personal challenge, landscape beauty, nature, new culture discovery, team work, solidarity and friendship. Can’t wait to start!

Peppe

Hello, my name is Peppe! I am Italian, living in the UK and always wondering where to go next.

When not planning adventurous holidays amongst glaciers and volcanoes I love talking about fracture mechanics and watching movies of dubious taste!

I like to stay active and this crazy trip represents an opportunity to find the outdoorsman inside me (or become a couch potato forever...).

I will keep this blog up to date and will look after all the social activities online.

Now please excuse me while I practice pronouncing "Eyjafjallajokull" correctly...

Paul

Hi, I'm Paul. I'm an aerospace engineer from Bristol.

I'm a big fan of endurance sports - I love that it's as much mental strength as physical strength. That love has led me to cycling. In April I'm riding Paris-Roubaix to complete Belgium's 'Hell of the North', and I have challenged myself with various mountain bike endurance rides and triathlons over the years.

Iceland to me is a different kind of challenge - it's not about speed, it's about distance, organisation, equipment and most importantly team work. I'm certainly looking forward to getting my head up and witnessing the amazing alien scenery!
